Don Broadwell

Don Broadwell was born in 1937, attended Westminster College in Missouri and was commissioned in the Marine Corps upon graduation. He served as an infantry platoon commander and later was an instructor/guide at the USMC Mountain Warfare Center. Following his military service, he attended Princeton Theological Seminary where he graduated with a concentration in pastoral counseling. In 1984, Don founded The Collaborative Center to help teachers transform their classroom leading from command-and-control to the more inclusive collaborative model. This is his first book, showing teachers how to model the new technique and aiding children in preparation for their uniquely collaborative future. Collaborative Leadership for Classroom and School earned his publisher's Editor's Choice award, presented to the top one-half percent of manuscripts reviewed.
