About the Author

Jared Stegall discovered his passion for writing at the age of sixteen, collaborating with his father on gospel music before expanding into poetry and fiction. Raised in Southern Ohio, his work is shaped by both life’s hardships and triumphs, exploring themes of love, loss, hope, healing, resilience, and redemption.

A devoted father and proud grandfather, Jared is the author of three published poetry collections and is completing a novel more than a decade in the making. After taking a writing sabbatical in the mountains of Montana, he returned home to Ohio, where he continues to write while building The Phoenix Family Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors of abuse and creating a safe place to rise again.

Through every poem and story, Jared hopes to remind readers that hope can be found even after life’s darkest chapters.
