Christopher Procter

Christopher Procter a co-founder with Fernando Rihl of Procter-Rihl Architects, a multi-disciplinary practice developing furniture, landscape, and architecture in the UK and abroad. He studied in the USA at Carnegie Mellon Univ. and in London at the Architectural Association. He apprenticed with Paolo Soleri in Arizona. He has past experience in practice with Rick Mather, Allies + Morrison, Jestico & Whiles, in London, Peter Woerner in New Haven, and WYS Architects in NYC. He ran the Technology Programme on the MA Architecture Course at the Royal College of Art, London from 2008-2016 pairing visiting engineers with student projects. He lectured on sustainability, passivhaus, and new alternative technologies. Since 2007 he has been teaching at Chelsea College of Art on student furniture projects for eccentrics. He is currently developing a book of these furnitures.
