Beth Kaplan

Beth Kaplan is a stay-at-home mom from Oak Park, Illinois. She is passionate about helping families that have children with special needs, find support and services. This is evident in her volunteer work with West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA) and the local public schools. Beth’s main focus is her son, Jacob, who was diagnosed with Autism, before the age of two. She has been and will continue to be, his strongest advocate. Jacob is now 12-years old and learning to self-advocate which has allowed Beth the opportunity to share her story.
