R. Sivadas is an innovative entrepreneur and business leader with particular strengths in Innovation, Managing Investments and Business development. He is a Postgraduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and was the Co-Founder and Managing director of Scope e-Knowledge Center, Chennai, a global content provider in the scientific and technical space. He is currently The Managing Director of RSi Content Solutions Inida Pvt Ltd , a Us based software company

Innovating ideas, nurturing them and then transforming these into ventures is Sivadas’ forte. This along with his strong knowledge and relationships in global outsourcing in India, USA, UK, Western Europe and Scandinavia are his major strengths.

He was the Chief visionary and architect behind Scope’s becoming one of the largest B2B content providers in India and then its transformation and meteoric growth as a Knowledge Process Offshoring player in the publishing and Intellectual Property space. He has successfully completed three rounds of exits in entrepreneurial ventures, the latest being the sale of Scope to Quatrro. At Scope, he had strong experience in commercial negotiation and a track record of securing business from customers in international markets and maintaining business relationships with Large Publishing and Fortune 500 companies.

He was previously CEO of e-Chem.com (a Sify group company) another company that he co-promoted along with his partner and the Indian Chemical Manufacturer’s Association ( ICMA) and was earlier with the UB Group and Escorts. He has also been actively interested in academics and has been a visiting faculty at a number of institutes including the Academy of Mangement Excellence (ACME), the British Open University and IIM, Calicut. He has also been a contributor to Business Line in the past.
