I work as a test prep tutor and admissions counselor for high school and college students. In that capacity, I've worked with hundreds of students all with different hopes, fears, goals, and strengths. I love my job.

Every year I get to help a new bunch of students take their best test, apply, and get accepted to wonderful colleges and graduate schools. I also routinely work with students who have physical impairments, or learning problems. It's an exciting time of life, full of possibility, and I love helping students through it.

I wrote "How to Graduate College in 4 Years" because no one had. Students need a practical guide to navigate college and save themselves time, money, and frustration. I want students to graduate in four years, but--as I say in the marketing stuff--surviving college is insufficient. I see college as a launchpad, where students establish the habits and priorities that will define their personal and professional lives.

I wrote "ACT Math the Guide" because I wasn't happy with the prep books available for the Math section of the ACT. They rushed through reviewing the math and didn't offer enough concentrated practice to allow students to learn the skills. So, I started writing my own. I wanted to write a book that could help students of all levels, with all educational backgrounds, and with all score objectives.

I live in Pittsburgh with my daughter Samantha and our dog (teaching assistant) Harper. I'm always happy to answer questions for free, and I can be reached through my website: http://thetestguy.com/contact.html
