Dr. JC Chaix

Dr. JC Chaix is an editor and an expert in media studies.

He has written and directed the documentary films "The Fall of Minneapolis," "Minnesota v. We the People," and "Minnesota Mao."

Along with Dr. Travis Yates, Dr. Chaix is the co-author of "The Phoenix Report," an analytical rebuttal on behalf of the Phoenix Fraternal Order of Police to a looming U.S. DOJ consent decree—that ultimately led to the rescinding of the decree, the rescinding of several more with other law enforcement agencies, and the stopping of the practice overall as announced by Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

Dr. Chaix is also the first person in more than 400 years to evidence how neo-Pythagorean mathematical/textual correlations were used to create intersemiotic complementarity in the composition of The Revelation in The King James Bible (1611), as demonstrated in his 500+ page doctoral dissertation, that also features a satirical parody of the scheme by Scottish author James Hogg in his classic "The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner" (1824).

His academic expertise concerns media hoaxes, propaganda, and deceptive media techniques. His research typically focuses on semiotics and meta-analysis of communication theories and practices. Dr. Chaix holds a Ph.D. in strategic media (with highest distinction) and a master's degree in English with a specialization in 18th- and 19th-century Gothic literature.

Dr. Chaix is bilingual (English/German) and studies Norwegian. He is also a staunch supporter of liberty, civility, and media literacy.
