Robert Galavan

Dr Robert Galavan is Professor of Strategic Management at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. He is an experienced business executive turned academic. Having held management roles in design, quality, operations, business development, and general management he moved to the Irish Management Institute where he delivered executive development programmes on leadership and strategy for almost a decade and was Head of Executive Development. He then joined Maynooth University, was the first Professor of Business and founder of the School of Business. He is an award winning scholar and active researcher. He advises public and private sector organisations on strategy and leadership topics. Somewhat to the dismay of his wife he is an avid motorcyclist and all round petrol head.
