Ferrill Gibbs

Ferrill Gibbs is a writer, podcaster, and songwriter from College Station, Texas.

He freelanced for the Houston Chronicle in 2020, then produced a series called "Alabama Astronaut" about the undocumented music of the serpent handlers of Appalachia.

Originally from Alabama, he experienced the Deepwater Horizon oil spill of 2010, and those memories served as the backdrop for his coming of age tale, The Secret Island of Edgar Dewitt.
