Corrales Writing Group

One of the things members of the Corrales Writing Group have learned is everyone has a story to tell. But to tell a story, one has to make time to write and seek the critiques of others.

Since its creation, the Corrales Writing Group publishes anthologies and their Kindle (e-book) equivalents about every eighteen months, and their books have received numerous awards and outstanding reviews. The group sells its anthologies at various local venues as well as nationally through amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.

The Corrales Writing Group has learned much. Probably the most important thing is to write.

The group urges would-be writers to find like-minded people who are interested in becoming authors, for writing is not just a craft. It is a journey walked on a path paved with willingness to open oneself up to others.

The group’s publications consist of: Corrales Writing Group 2013 Anthology; Corrales Writing Group 2014 Anthology; Currents: Corrales Writing Group 2015 Anthology; Passages: A Corrales Writing Group Anthology; Passages In Color: A Corrales Writing Group Anthology; and Love, Sweet to Spicy: A Corrales Writing Group Anthology. All are available on Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats. A new anthology, Kale is a Four-Letter Word, is scheduled for a late 2020 release.

Over the past years, members include the following authors who published chapters in one of the group’s five anthologies: Don Reightley, Patricia Walkow, Sandi Hoover, Thomas Neiman, Leon Wiskup, James John Tritten, Christina G. Allen, Maureen Cooke, John Atkins, Peter Gooch, and Joe Brown.

The group is composed of seven active members. Don, Leon, Tom, and John have retired and two have had their works included as guest contributors to the Corrales Writing Group Anthologies: Jasmine Tritten and Walter Walkow.
