Stephana Arnold

Stephana Arnold was born August 4, 1931 in St.Vincent and the Grenadines. She emigrated to

Canada many years ago and settled in Ontario. She has been interested in cooking since she was a teenager and enjoys making delicious food very much. Her two cookbooks have taken

many years to get to this stage of development. She uses spices and herbs a lot and has learned

that certain flavours enhance certain dishes and when she finds a combination that works, she always uses that combination. Many of the dishes are created from memories of her childhood and perfected in a way that every time they are made, they will taste the same. She has had many flops over the years, making a dish over and over until it is to her liking. She has perfected the spice mixtures, e.g., Creole Seasoning, Cajun Spice etcetera, which give her dishes extra zip. She also remembers that her older son remarked after dinner one night that the meal was "tasty good", which makes it all worthwhile. She is a homemaker and gourmet cook. She gardens in the Summer and grows the Scotch Bonnet peppers in a container from which she makes Gourmet Hot Pepper Sauce and uses in her dishes. Stephana is the mother of four adult children, grandmother of six and two great grandchildren. She lives in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
