Marc Brightman

Marc Brightman (1976-) was born in Scotland. Since 2001 he has worked on several projects with his wife, the anthropologist Vanessa Grotti, starting with their doctoral fieldwork in Suriname and French Guiana. They have produced two edited volumes together, and Marc's first ethnographic monograph, The Imbalance of Power, published in 2016, is the companion volume to Vanessa's forthcoming book, Living with the Enemy.
