'101 Lessons I Taught My Son' is Paul’s first book. The book reflects Paul’s upbringing as a child in Jamaica but is compounded by the very different parenting culture in the UK where he has brought up his son Kaream.
Faced with raising a young black boy in the UK, Paul sought help and in the first instance, he found that support in The 100 Black Men of London, an international organisation dedicated to community development and particularly focused on young people. Paul served many roles in the 100, but importantly this was his first taste of mentoring and coaching of young people. Paul went on to develop a leading Mentor Training program which he has delivered to a variety of organisations across London.
Paul's Mentoring Training program brought him to the attention of Urban Synergy one of London premier mentoring organisations. Urban Synergy was eagerly seeking out a quality mentor training for their new recruits, and Paul's program was select. Ten years later Paul still trains All Urban Synergy Mentors and serves as a board trustee.
Paul holds a Masters in Project Management and works as a Consultant Program/Project Manager.
