Paul Kisakye

Paul Kisakye is a writer and editor based in Kampala, Uganda. He wrote a middle-grade science fiction series titled the Tech Explorers League (Rise of the Robot, Hacked! and Farming Fiasco), published by Aniseeker.

He also wrote The Rainmakers, a young adult novel published by Amalion. It was the winner of the Sarraounia Prize for Young Adult Fiction 2020 and was translated into French as Les Faiseurs de Pluie.

He is an African Writers Trust Publishing Fellow and his short story, Two Pink Bands, was published in Moonscapes, a short story anthology published by African Writers Trust in 2016. In 2013, he was shortlisted in the Writivism Short Story Prize for his story, Emotional Rollercoaster.
