E G Cunningham

E. G. Cunningham was born in South Carolina and raised in Italy and Florida. She is the author of several books of poetry, most recently the poetry-photography collection, Field Notes (River River Books, 2025). Her fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and image-based work has appeared in Colorado Review, The Nation, Poetry Review, Poetry London, The Gettysburg Review, ZYZZYVA, and other publications. Her work has been recognized with the Judith Siegel Pearson Award, the LUMINA Nonfiction Award, and Pushcart and Best of the Net nominations. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Georgia, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and a B.A. in English from the University of South Florida. She lives in Washington state.
