JJ Piper

On a rainy Sunday in the Spring in the great Pacific Northwest, JJ sat in church with his family. The congregation worked it’s way through the Gospel of John. JJ found himself having trouble focusing on the sermon. Instead he tried to imagine what Jesus looked like after the resurrection.

Unlike most day dreams, the distraction didn’t end when he left the sanctuary. That night he opened his bible and starting searching out all of the examples of the resurrected Jesus. Often, Jesus’ closest friends and confidants didn’t recognize him. In prayer that night he felt called to write.
