Somnath Mookherjee

Dr. Mookherjee is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington (UW); his clinical practice is in perioperative medicine and internal medicine consultation. His scholarly work focuses on optimizing clinical teaching. Dr. Mookherjee directs the UW Center for Learning and Innovation in Medical Education (CLIME) and the Faculty Development Program for the UW Division of General Internal Medicine. He is a Deputy Editor for the Journal of Hospital Medicine and directs the UW Academic Hospitalist Fellowship. Dr. Mookherjee also serves as a UW School of Medicine Colleges faculty mentor.

Dr. Mookherjee completed his training in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington in 2007. He went to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) for an Academic Hospital Medicine Fellowship and returned to Seattle in 2012 to rejoin the UW Division of General Internal Medicine.
