Lawrence M. Scheier

Lawrence M. Scheier is the author of historical fiction set in ancient Macedonia, Greece, Egypt, and the Levant. In particular, he has written a trilogy exploring the life of Alexander the Great through the eyes of his closest companion, Hephaestion. Drawing on years of travel to ancient sites across the Mediterranean, Scheier brings meticulously researched history to life through vivid, character driven storytelling. He lives in Denver, Colorado, and is currently completing the graphic novel editions of the trilogy, the first expected in the fall of 2026.
