Author Malcom Boyd was born and raised in Denver, Colorado from a black middle-class upbringing. The youngest of five in his younger years he always showed signs of being creative via drawing and the fine arts, but the writing bug didn't sink its teeth into him until in life.
Making a complete 180-degree turnaround in 2013, Mr.Boyd packed his bags and moved from Denver to San Francisco. His writings were discovered by small San Francisco-based publishing house, and he succeeded in publishing his first novel as an e-book, One Way In, No Way Out [available on Amazon]. Wanting to fully immerse himself in writing and publishing, three years later Malcolm again moved, this time to New York City.
Embracing the Big Apple's energy and vibrancy, Mr.Boyd is presently a sports editor and political columnist for New York-based Our World Media Magazine, and he is increasingly active in coverage for neighborhood and local civic affairs.
After trudging through the intricacies and pitfalls of the publishing business, Mr.Boyd is currently forming the basis for his own publishing company, Three-Legged Elephant Publishing. His mission will be to assist first-time and beginning authors get their work 'out there'; instructing and guiding them through the legalities and fine-print details that would push most authors into costly, time-consuming and pointless efforts, eventually forcing them to give up on dreams of published work.
Mr.Boyd's driving force is his true belief that it's never too late in life to live life.
