Vicky Bultitude

I'm simply Vicky! I love a lot of things. I've lived in the same town my whole life which just so happens to be literally the furthest point in the country in any direction from the sea. I have a yearning to break free. I've spent most of my life wishing I could do the amazing things that others can do. I've rubbed shoulders with giants whilst feeling very small. I'm disorganised, undisciplined and overweight and despite all of this, my Father God has chosen to show me things I hadn't realised: I am now recognising my wings!

I'm a busy wife to a wonderful husband who is both artistic and musical and super talented in these areas. A mum to 3 incredibly unique, wonderfully funny, ambitious boys and 1 beautiful, kind gentle, girl. I'm a homemaker, a children's pastor at church, a church leader and friend to anyone and everyone. I work from bottom to top and top to bottom. My day job is a complex care nurse for children with specific complex needs.

I love all that I do. I love the inspirational situations my everyday life places me into. I love the inspirational people I meet along the way and I long to be someone who inspires others.

I'm a big dreamer, an ocean lover, a deep thinker and I have a passion for writing. There is a story inside of me and I'm beginning to scratch the surface of what that may look like.

I count my blessings! I don't take anything for granted, stepping out of my front door and seeing a beautiful blue sky never ceases to take my breath away. I'm grateful.

My work until this is very personal in my own journal. I have a love and appreciation for all arts and creativity, I love to write in beautiful places. I love to be outside listening, looking and peaceful, Music and the natural sounds of the world around me speak to my heart and feed my soul.

The best thing about my writing is realising that putting pen to paper gives me clarity, I understand my thoughts more clearly, I get to know myself better. It has helped me to uncover and overcome anxiety and handle my feelings. It brings structure and has enabled me and my family to take hold of the biggest steps of faith!
