Hello! My name is CJ and I am the proud father of two beautiful children, Lila (3) and Jobson (1). My wife, Lauren and I enjoy reading to our kids as I'm sure you all do. One day after reading a few stories to my daughter and then putting her down for her mid-day nap, I decided to start writing a story for her. I noticed she was more engaged when I read a story that had animals and also rhymed. So I set the story in our home town area of Barrington, Rhode Island and other seaports nearby. Dreams, memories and visions filled my head as I put pencil to paper. I guess sometimes you just get inspired and that's what happened with Lila's Harbor. Special thanks to Meg Sodano for bringing our story to life!
