As a retired physical education teacher/coach and juvenile court guardian ad litem, these baby boomers set out to rediscover some of their past acquaintances and to write their life stories down in book form. "Everyone has a strong need to feel validation in their lives, that their lives mattered, and what better way than to write their stories for others to enjoy and relate to in our book". Born in an era when communication was mostly done by face-to-face contact, these authors set out on a 6,600 mile journey to visit former friends in person and to visit some of America's most beautiful national parks. "Each of our past people connections we made in our lives are extremely important to us, these connections are what make us who we are today".
