Warren Macdougall

Warren Macdougall was born in Gimli Manitoba, the son of a Doctor for the Royal Canadian Airforce. He and his family travelled regularly during his formative years, some would call him an "Army Brat". He spent his high school and university years in Ontario, before answering the call of the West and moving to Banff in 1989. With a freshly printed Bachelor of Science degree, Warren became what most university graduates dream of: a ski bum! Working and skiing and hiking and biking were the mainstays of his life for the following 11 years. He then decided to learn more about computers and went back to school for a degree in Applied Information Technology. His career post "Banff retirement" included getting married, working with an IBM small business partner, and building custom made golf clubs. Warren began his own company while being a stay at home father to his 2 children, and having friends and family ask him to help with their computer and internet problems. His company "GetU2TheTop.com" grew out of those needs. He has been helping people online since 2006, and formally began his own company in 2009. Writing about what has helped him and his customers has been a staple on his website with regular blog posts.
