Janie M. Boland

Janie M Boland spent most of her childhood growing up in the mountains of Pinehurst, California just minutes away from the Sequoia National Forest. Currently she resides in central California with her husband and four children. She is the author of A Cat Named Kitty, New Shoes for Addie and Baby Bear Baby Bear Where are You? She finds that much of her inspiration for writing comes from her family and the happy times that they have together with their pets. Her goal as an author is to help instill the love of books in her young readers and to write books that will be enjoyed equally by children and those that read to them. When she is not writing she can most likely be found in her garden planting more beautiful plants or fighting with her nemesis, the snail.
