Chris Spence

Chris Spence (1962 -) was originally born in England, moving to Canada when he was three years old. He was drafted into the professional Canadian Football League in 1985 and, after suffering a serious injury, started his journey to be an educator. Chris Spence has always been passionate about helping children and his books are focused on issues that drive and urges readers to think differently about the ways that they treat each other. For his most recent book, "The Adventures of Bobby Allen," Chris discusses the life of a boy who has entered uncharted territory as he starts school in a new country. Throughout his career, Chris has won many awards for his outstanding contributions to education and the community and works tirelessly to create equality and level the playing field, and this philosophy is reflected in each of his books.
