Dr. Paul Fuller

Dr. Paul Fuller grew up in Mulga, Alabama, a suburb seven miles west of Birmingham. He attended the local public schools of Mulga Jr. High and Westfield High School. Dr. Fuller earned several college degrees such as an Associates degree from Lawson State Community College, Bachelors and Masters degrees from Alabama A&M University, and a doctorate from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He completed additional coursework at the University of Alabama, Boise State University, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Northern Iowa. He taught African American Studies, Criminal Justice, Criminology, and Sociology for over forty years at Morristown College and Knoxville College. He has earned numerous academic and professional awards and honors such as being admitted into honor societies, included in Who's Who Among Students, and selected as Teacher of the Year, and winning the Annual Yearbook Dedication Award. Dr. Fuller has written a number of articles and has conducted follow-up studies of graduates and is the author of three books. His books include; "From Africans to African Americans: A Sociological and Historical Analysis of the Black Experience"; "Black Methodists in America: A Success Story of a Model Minority Group"; and "MAJOR IMPACT: [From A Minority Group] African American Contributions to American and World Civilizations".
