For over 50 years I wrote technical manuals for a living. I was good at it, very good, but it is a form of writing that I got little enjoyment out of. Now that I am an old man and pretty much unable to have adventures I find that I can still enjoy them by writing about them. Just stories from my imagination.

People have asked me if some of the stories are pieces of my life. They say they recognize me in them. With the exception of two, I assure you they are pure fiction. The story of my father's life, "HBT", is as true as I can make it at this late date. The other one is not listed here. My son, a United States Marine, died in 1998 and I wrote an article about my feelings after his death. I wrote it for myself but I have shown it to a few other people. One of them asked me to show it to the editor of a local paper and it was published therein.

Anyway, as long as my imagination works I will continue to write - mostly short stories of only a few thousand words. I do hope you enjoy them.
