Michael Braun

Born and raised in Bavaria, Michael Braun discovered his passion for languages and education at an early age. This led him to pursue a degree in secondary education for English and German, which he successfully completed in 2007. However, instead of following the traditional path of a teacher in Germany, he was drawn to distant shores.

In 2008, he began his career at an international school in Bangkok, Thailand. There, he not only had the opportunity to pass on his expertise in English and German to a new generation of students but also immersed himself in an intercultural environment that broadened his horizons and provided valuable insights into various educational systems and methods. During his many years at the school, he also took on administrative roles, serving as Assistant Principal for nine years and as the coordinator for modern foreign languages.

In 2022, he returned to his Bavarian roots and accepted a position at a Vocational Upper Secondary School. Here, he continues his mission to optimize learning for his students and offer them individualized and differentiated learning opportunities. He is particularly interested in the applications of artificial intelligence in the classroom and digital learning. This is why he has also been active as a Google for Education Certified Trainer.
