Kay, a teacher of communications, prides herself on empowering young people to free their voice and writes with the aim of inspiring others, one word at a time.

She’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to check out what she believes is a groundbreaking concept within the pages of her book, Lyrically Speaking: Seasons of My Life. In this intimate slice of life you’ll find a collection of inspirational anecdotes, as well as original lyrics for more than 150 songs—yet to be set to music—searching out willing collaborators around the globe. To honour this book’s working title, “Where’s My Elton John?” she is sending these words out in search of meeting their potential.
