Jan Ross

Jan is a student of Scripture with a passion for helping others see the depth and beauty of the Bible in its original context. Through years of teaching and writing, she seeks to bring clarity to often misunderstood passages and to encourage a faith rooted not in outcomes but in trust in God’s faithfulness. One of her objectives is to challenge misinterpretations and shallow assumptions, and to invite readers into a deeper, more enduring trust of the One who is faithful.

Having been raised in the church, Jan has loved and served Jesus since childhood. Her worldview has been impacted by the Word of God and her many life experiences. Her service on the mission field has increased her understanding of mankind's desperate need to know Jesus and to put their trust in Him. She continues to see the world through the lens of the Great Commission.

Jan lives in Willard, Ohio, with her husband of 50+ years and their feisty little sheepadoodle named Josie. Jan’s many years as a writer and Bible teacher have prepared her for this season in life, slowing down and enjoying her senior years with family, studying, and writing for publication.
