Stephanie Hafferty

Stephanie Hafferty is an award winning author, organic no dig kitchen gardener, garden and food writer and chef. Her book No Dig Organic Home & Garden, co-authored with Charles Dowding, won The Garden Media Guild Practical Book of the Year 2017. Both Charles and Stephanie wrote the gardening chapters of the book, which also includes Stephanie's recipes and potions.

Stephanie's second book is The Creative Kitchen, published November 2018.

She runs a kitchen garden for a restaurant at an international art gallery in Somerset, UK and grows for her family in her smallish productive home garden and allotment. Her work includes setting up no dig gardens on large private estates and advising on community growing projects; her work has been featured internationally in newspapers and magazines. Stephanie creates delicious seasonal recipes made from the plants anyone can grow and also uses homegrown and foraged plants to make homemade solutions for the home and garden.
