Tyler Koch

Tyler Koch is a native of Henderson, Texas, and a graduate of both Texas A&M University (B.S. Agricultural Leadership) and the University of Oklahoma (M.A. Managerial Economics). His work as a Human Resources Professional has stemmed from his experience as an Administrative and Legal Officer in the United States Marine Corps, which he considers the best job he has ever had. As Tyler puts it, "My family taught me values, the Texas FFA taught me leadership, and the U.S. Marine Corps showed me why it all mattered." Since departing the Marine Corps Tyler has serves in the field of Human Resources and Operations, focusing on the behaviors and trends of the millennial worker in their search for career success. Tyler's extensive training in project management and HR have equipped him with a unique set of skills which are demonstrated in his articulation of HR as a field of processes, in addition to policy. Through his writings and seminars Tyler hopes to bring much needed insight to employees that are struggling with finding satisfaction in their jobs. As Tyler puts it, "Life is too short to continue to give to a company that doesn't appreciate the efforts of its individual contributors, so quit settling down into a toxic culture, and STEP UP towards success!"
