E Mark Pelmore

My name is E Mark Pelmore, my desire to become an author began as a way for me to train others from the ideas and concepts I had either gathered notes on, as I developed those pieces of training. When I reached a position to start sharing my pieces of training, I needed a better way to reach the masses. I had no formal documentation of my training developed, which at the time I was being told to be considered an expert "you either need a Ph.D. or be a published author". That statement was weighing heavy on me because I was building upon my interest in being a creator or an imaginative individual but not being recognized for it. Writing ideas down, was part of my process to express my metamorphosis in thinking and as a person. Thankfully that process of creativity or imagination was not killed as life continued. As my transformation from learner to educator towards entrepreneur, becoming a subject matter expert was still the pursuit as I entered the training & development industry as an enterprise. The spark came from the constant conversations that centered around "why don't you publish some of your ideas?" The published curriculum was not aligning with the materials I wanted to teach in my training & development environment. Longer story shortened; eventually, I found the right platform for me to give my goal a real shot. Fast forward, currently, I speak to, instruct, and train others as a profession, but my writing inspires me to show others to follow their vision, dreams, or passion. The one caveat I continue to emphasize is do not procrastinate like I did. As a CEO, my new vision is building businesses, spaces, and platforms for people to still have HOPE but then to PURSUE goals that are bigger than the normal stuff.
