Wilhelm Tan

Wilhelm Jamisola Tan is a Graphic Designer who specializes in Advertising Industry doing technical designs for Environmental Signages, Billboards and Exhibit booths. He graduated in BT Graphic Arts and Printing Technology from Technological University of the Philippines in 2006. He did his on the job training in Pacific Digital Inc., where he worked as a Digital Painter and was able to participate in a Canadian based project called Benjamin Bear (Leap Frog).

After graduation he served as a full-time missionary of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was assigned in Baguio Phils. for 2 years. After his mission he had the opportunity to attend a 3-month seminar for 2D Animation Course sponsored by the City Govt. and graduated in the top 4 of their class.

In 2010, he got married and had a son who is now becoming as passionate as he is in arts and drawings. In 2013 he left his job in the Phils and decided to take his chances and worked abroad. He worked in Doha, Qatar with the same job in Gulfcrafts WLL. His employer saw his good works and potential and offered to renew his contract which he turned down and decided to pursue his career back home with his family.

After coming back home, he landed an illustration job with The Mendon Cottage Books which he has no second thoughts of accepting. It was a job that is very close to his heart. Ever since he was a little, he is very interested in arts and love to draw and seeing his son growing up with the same passion that he has inspires him more to create illustrations that would help children like his son to love and find interest in arts would later become a lifetime passion.
