Shiv Jhangiani

Shiv Jhangiani is the founder of Billion Dollar Foot, a sports advisory firm helping clubs, organizations and brands build connections to India and its football. Shiv is a former aspiring professional footballer and currently an entrepreneur. Serious knee injuries knocked his promising youth football career off track but that didn’t deter his passion for football and his homeland.

Shiv has lived in seven different countries developing an undeniable passion for traveling and discovering new cultures. Ever since moving to Nigeria at the age of two the one thing that Shiv would never leave his sight is his football. From Nigeria to DC, via London, Atlanta, Vienna, Athens, New Delhi and Metz, he has been head-over-heels for the ‘beautiful game’. Shiv spent three years playing for FC Metz’s youth teams, an academy that has spat out the likes of Robert Pires and Miralem Pjanic amongst other legends of the game. Unfortunately, for Shiv his dreams came to an abrupt halt when he tore his ACL twice and menisci four times in the space of twenty months.

Shiv connected his passion for football and India to delve into the business of Indian football during his time at Georgetown University. He plans to be on the pitch in some shape or form when the World Cup finals are hosted in India in the (very) near future.
