Terry Tropin

Terry Tropin, MSHAI, CCS-P, RHIA, is an AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer. She taught for more than 20 years at community colleges in Maryland. She has taught ICD-10 and CPT coding and reimbursement.

These books grew from study guides developed for her students. The books take the confusing coding guidelines and translates them into plain English. The first books were published in 2016 and are updated every year.

In addition to these books, she has a YouTube channel (Tropin's Medical Coding) with videos on ICD-10 and CPT coding.

She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband.
