Amari Ice is a Romantic Mastery Coach™ who helps gay professionals & executives develop the skills that make love inevitable.
According to the Global Love Institute, he’s the first Black, gay, certified matchmaker and science-based dating coach in the world. He’s also a certified master hypnotist and specializes in hypnosis for love, which helps clients release self-sabotage, dating anxiety, and trust issues.
Although he primarily helps singles become their own matchmakers, Amari matched Matt and Daniel, the first gay couple on the TV show Married at First Sight.
Since 2011, Amari has helped over 1,000 men level up their love lives and distilled what actually produces results (including his marriage to his husband, Eddie) into his Love Alchemy Romantic Mastery Method. The method is the foundation of his coaching philosophy, which he outlines in his upcoming book, Love Alchemy: The Mini Manual for Mastering Your Romantic Magic (working title).
Amari is also the author of the #1 international best-seller Lasting Love at Last: The Gay Guide to Attracting the Relationship of Your Dreams.
Through his books, workshops, coaching programs, and destination retreats, Amari provides gay men with a proven method to transform into confident love magnets.
Before launching Amari Means Love—his romantic education, coaching, and consulting company—he spent over a decade leading organizations and programs to empower the LGBTQ+ community.
Amari studied communication, culture, and psychology at Howard University and has an MBA in marketing from Strayer University. He is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana.
