Hi
I became a writer once I retired from the Civil Service a several years ago now having found knitting just didn't cut the mustard. First I wrote under pen name Beth E Browning children's stories inspired by the two soft toys clowns, one with blonde hair, Bobo, the other with jammy coloured hair, Jojo, seven year old twin clowns. These my mother loved and the jammy haired clown, Jojo, had been Mum's and came to me when she died. Their adventures are great fun. https://www.amazon.co.uk/-/e/B00876Q7ME I found the clowns books Adventures of Bobo and Jojo being giving away in Japan and several of my books being sold in Poland without my permission! even Wall mart has offered the book under their parenting magerzine but I have not seen a penny?
I went on to write more children's stories and then Murder stories and collated two books of my short stories, now combined under one book "Telling Tales Again " containing over 40 stories. I meet at writing classes Linda Mitchell my co-author of the latest book 'REVENGE:Blood Runs Deep by Mitchell and Mitchell' which had a bright red cover, but now see the new cover with the medieval London Bridge which we hope you will like and will find intriguing, a great read if I say it myself set in 1660/61 as Charles II regains his throne. You don't have to be a history buff to enjoy this suspense/love story.
I do love history and my 'Great Uncle Sedgwick's Gift' a time travel story covering several era's is loved by adults and children alike. I originally intended it for children as a way of making history fun but it became much more, it will make you laugh and make you cry find It under Beth E Browning.
I have had a short play published, a crime story 'A chance Meeting'. I have a few others that I really should see about publishing. Linda and I are writing another story so won't be sitting back on our laurels having finally publishing Revenge about 4 years work.
