When I first started to dream about being an author I thought it was going to be easy, how foolish I was.

My first efforts were a confusing and muddled mess that my editor reviewed and shook her head at in disappointment.

So I tried again, and again and then again.

I learned to listen to the characters that keep an author awake at night, and I started to take note of their hopes and dreams and what makes them tick, and slowly but surely I wrote my first novel, The Killing Grounds, quickly followed by A Red Mist and then, A Study in Black.

It's a series born from love, trust in the process of creation, and hard work, mixed in with a healthy dose of humility and a ton of editing.

Since that baptism of fire, I have finished several more novels, 'James Fisher. and 'Jynx' you will find here at AMAZON, while 'Jessica Rain Weatherwitch' will be arriving soon.
