AJ Munro lives and works in Cardiff and has enjoyed a media career since the year 2000. Working as a news producer for Fuji TV in London took him all over the world including the Middle East, Africa and New York to cover the 9/11 terror attacks. He then decided that was quite enough excitement and moved into public relations.
His five year experience in London led to an enduring love affair with North London. The area is the inspiration behind his debut novel, The Heath, with the plot revolving around the shooting of dogs on Hampstead Heath and local detective, DI Jack Love's attempt to catch the marksman and the unravelling of a disturbed mind.
A huge fan of Ian Rankin and Peter Robinson as well as a prolific reader in general, Munro's thriller is the opening book of what he hopes will be a long and successful DI Jack Love series of unusual, thrilling and compelling stories.
