Jonathon Perrin (1980-) was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He attended a Christian school until his graduation in 1998, and spent that summer in Israel at the Weizmann Institute Summer Science Program. He graduated in 2002 with a four-year double B.Sc. in Geology and Archaeology from Brandon University. He has spent five summers as an archaeologist in Manitoba, and ten years as a well-site geologist in western Canada. He has since devoted his life to research and writing.
His primary interests lie in discovering the mysterious origins of religion, and answering the questions he has faced his entire life while studying at a Christian school. His first book (Moses Restored) examines the origins of Judaism. His upcoming books will include an expanded volume on Moses, as well as an analysis of the origins of Christianity (Jesus Restored).
He also enjoys travelling to historical and ancient sites, and is planning a trip to Egypt, to visit Amarna for himself.
