Mekram Mohammad

Mekram was born in Missouri and was classically trained as an Architect. Growing up, he always found himself writing and drawing. Mekram noticed a lack of fun Islamic material as a child and that resonated with him as he grew up. With a strong interest for design and creativity, he went on to study Architecture.

Determined to provide a fun and Islamic alternative for his children, Mekram began writing Islamic children books to bridge the gap between religion and education. When deciding on the characters, Mekram had to look no further than his two younger siblings, Mustafa and Arwa. Mekram, grew up close to his siblings and they were always up for adventures.

What started off as a fun way to teach children about Islam early on, has blossomed into multiple titles written by Mekram teaching the very basics of Islam with fun illustrations and witty rhymes.
