Dennis Loynes lives in the rural splendour that is Worcestershire. He retired aged fifty eight from his position as Financial Director of a small group of motor dealers. A job he loved.

He got interested in writing in a curious way. One Christmas his step daughter organised a party where everyone had to display a new talent. He decided to write a Santa Clause story. The grandchildren loved it. Either that or they were being kind. Most important he found he had a real passion for writing.

The idea for the young adult romance, Trials of Love, came about one day when taking his grandchildren on a day trip to the seaside. One grandson casually mentioned that he had just got married to his girlfriend for the third time. He was ten at the time. The seed had been planted!

He has also had short stories published in anthologies such as `Windmills and Paper Boats, Day of the Dead and Figure in the Mist.
