James Sarti

I worked 75 hours per week at my last job for a $500 paycheck. No benefits whatsoever, not even a weeks vacation after a very long year. I quit after falling asleep behind the wheel for the hundredth time due to my inability to get a decent night's sleep due to work related injuries Workmen's Comp did nothing to rectify. (torn ligaments in both arms, a bad right shin from my latest employer; burnt feet, a bad back, and dishpan hands from previous attempts to make a living) I held 13 jobs in this not so former slave state only to come to the inevitable conclusion that hard work only gets one more hard work...and pain. Aforementioned job was courier driver, driving a 16' box van delivering auto and tractor parts in the middle of the night. I did manage to get out without killing or hurting anyone, other than myself, thank God.

Now, at the ripe old age of 54, I endeavor a new course in life--writing.

I don't claim to have any training only my imagination, about the only thing left.

I sincerely hope you enjoy my work and I certainly don't mean to offend anyone, especially by my pathetic life story above. (Just the truth, and nothing but, unlike my books)

My current works include:

Skin Deep

The Ghost and Miss Luanne

Simple White T

Bats and Dogs

Good Girls Don't...But They Do Think About It

I plan to add a couple of anthologies of my earlier, smaller by the end of June' 17 and my version of the Great American Novel by the end of the year, assuming Kindle and Amazon allow me

I apologize for any formatting errors. I go back and re-upload to try to get rid of as much as possible but time and sanity are most definitely not on my side. (The errors don't appear on my original Word pages.)

Sincerely half out of my mind from sleep-deprivation, James Sarti
