Craig Considine

Dr. Craig Considine is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Rice University, where he has taught since 2015. His work examines radical ideologies, interfaith spaces, the sociology of religion, and the defense of Western liberal societies—including the United States and Israel—against movements that seek to undermine them. He is the author of ten books, including When Marx Meets Islam: Navigating Radical Ideologies in Defense of the West (Pitchstone Publishing, 2026). His work has been reviewed in The Wall Street Journal and translated into French and Indonesian. Considine has received fellowships from the Middle East Forum and the Jewish National Fund, as well as the Abraham Executive Academy. He has spoken at the U.S. House of Representatives, Oxford University, NYU Abu Dhabi, and the Neue Synagoge Berlin.
