Judy A. Dees was born along the Arkansas River but has lived most of her life in NW Arkansas. The loves of her life-besides God-have been her children and grandchildren; close behind have been her students from almost 25 years of teaching. Although an English teacher, Judy had written little poetry until six isolated months in Alaska. Then, an illness(caused by chemicals) provided even more time alone. Verses From Above: Praise the Lord-On Man and Nature-Garden of Abuse and 36 A DAY! came together.
Verses From Above is a book of poetry. God created every living being and has a plan for each person's life (Praise the Lord); man is inherently linked to nature and has many similarities (Of Man and Nature); most people have been abused -physically, emotionally, verbally, or sexually-to some degree(Garden of Abuse).
36 A DAY! is about the prevention of disease, rather than treatment for it. See how you can help change your family's health by cleaning up what they eat, drink, and breathe. The book contains many pages of references; it is more a handbook, like a "How To" book.
Judy loves people and loves to share what she has learned. In essence, she is still a teacher. Although retired from the classroom ,she shares now through writing and speaking. She leaves you with this thought: What negative comment has someone made to you that has affected you all your life? Seek the truth - and you will be set free.
