Dan Friedman

Dan Friedman is a writer and communications expert.

He writes about books, football (soccer) and humor for a variety of outlets.

Formerly the award-winning executive editor of the Forward and director of communications for Shalom Hartman America, he writes regularly for the L.A. Review of Books and is a contributing editor to 8by8:The Magazine the Beautiful Game Deserves. He was a staff writer for Sacha Baron Cohen and has also written for The New York Times, the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal.

Dan has a PhD in Comparative Literature from Yale and an MA in English Literature from Cambridge where he captained the university soccer team (though never to victory).
