Ronald Alan Moore

Ron Moore was born in 1958 in Chico, California and grew up in Fremont, California. Ron was drawn to youth ministry at the age of 17 and after graduating from high school he attended Columbia Christian College in Portland, Oregon. During college Ron worked with churches in Incline Village, Nevada and Concord, California. After leaving college Ron went to work as a youth pastor for a church in Bakersfield, California. Ron has spent 40 years working in various areas of ministry. Ron feels that God called him to write his book May the words of my mouth after observing and listening to the speech of believers in the church. He noticed that a lot of times their speech didn't sound any different from the world. Ron wants his readers to think about their daily speech and not just the words that they say, but also the commitments that they make. Ron feels that as a Christ follower we have been called out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light. If we are in a new kingdom we need to learn a new language. Ron has been married to his wife Jan for 35 years and they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
