Josh Mantz is a West Point graduate and a retired United States Army major. He is a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star with Valor. He holds a master’s degree in Philosophy, Consciousness, and Cosmology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. focused on understanding non-ordinary states of consciousness.
His publications include The Beauty of a Darker Soul: Overcoming Trauma Through the Power of Human Connection (2018) and his contribution to a forthcoming anthology titled Moral Injury and the Humanities where he wrote Chapter 10 titled Meaning-Making and Moral Injury: The Role of the Narrative in Understanding Trauma.
Josh is a also a trained breathworker specializing in conscious-connected breathing and rebirthing. He lives in Las Vegas, NV.
