Iris N. Schwartz is the author of more than sixty works of fiction. Her flash fictions have been published or are forthcoming in dozens of publications, including Anti-Heroin Chic, Jellyfish Review, Connotation Press, Unbroken Journal, Gravel, and Blink-Ink. Her debut story collection, My Secret Life with Chris Noth, was published in 2017 by Poets Wear Prada. (Two of the stories garnered Pushcart Prize nominations.) Shame: And Other Stories was published in 2019, includes the Best Microfiction-2018-nominated story "Dogs," and was shortlisted on North of Oxford's summer 2019 recommended reading list. Ms. Schwartz has also written erotica, most notably the story “Hedonics,” anthologized in Stirring Up a Storm: Tales of the Sensual, the Sexual, and the Erotic (Running Press). Awakened, a collection of her poems with those of Madeline Artenberg, was published by Rogue Scholars Press. She is currently working on a novel comprised of flash chapters. Ms. Schwartz lives in New York City with actor David B. McConeghey.
